So as of today, we have entered a new era. The modern visionary that helped drive the tech innovation market has passed. Rest in peace Steve Jobs and know that you made much more than the "dent in the universe" that you so desired. He was a master of providing the "next best thing" before we knew that that is what we wanted and needed. His forethought lit the fuses of so many markets that his impacts won't fade for many generations.
On another note, people are leaving BofA in droves over their new fees. They claim that they are entitled to make a profit. That is a laugh. After the taxpayers bailed them out, and they have riled everyone regarding their foreclosure practices, they claim that they haven't made enough profits. Next they will layoff 30,000 employees. Why did they buy Countrywide? Countrywide was a giant hole filled with liabilities, poor investments, and ill will. Buying them passed all those on to BofA. I don't hesitate when I say that they would have been better off not to buy them, but just to let them fail. The ill will towards BofA will cost them much more in profitability that the loss of fees on debit cards. The bad publicity is more than they realize...
So the formerly(G)OP will now consist of Romney and a bunch of extremist non-Romneys. We will not have Christie or Palin to toss around anymore, as they have both excluded themselves from consideration. Will that shut them up? Probably not. The big push by the Tea Party appears to have lost all of their steam (and candidates). Perhaps we labeled Palin correctly earlier as an controversy igniter, rather than a (serious) candidate.

My Statement
"Let me emphatically say that I am not anti-Facebook (Fleecebook), anti-smart phone, anti-Microsoft, anti-Apple, anti-Google or anti-Internet. I do believe, though, that the consumer is being ripped off of his privacy, identity and purchase history. We are being herded into a Facebook corner where what we "Like" and where we go physically and on the net will be scrutinized and sold numerous times to actually corrode and erode our culture while tempting us only with convenience, high tech and flashing video screens. The unsuspecting consumers need to be aware..." - Gary Lapman
