The Right Place At the RIght Time- but Mucho Peligro!

"The Social Network" won a Golden Globe last night.  It is too bad that nobody has done a biopic about Bill Gates or Steve Jobs.  Their story certainly is as captivating.  I lived and worked in that era and saw the opportunities go by as I attempted to get a real life, outside of work, started.  Nobody would have guessed that there was that much money in that kind of idea.  The dot-com errand eventual burst basically told us all that it is very difficult to maintain growth without a product.  Just a website is not enough.  Zuckerberg intrigued the younger generation, just as laptops and smart phones allowed everyone to be connected.  He was in the right place at the right time.  We all were, but may not have reacted as a socially inept, but very smart, fanatic.  These are the kind of people that change the paradigm.

My best friend emailed with the best news.  His Oncologist says he is cancer free!  I am elated.
