My Statement

"Let me emphatically say that I am not anti-Facebook (Fleecebook), anti-smart phone, anti-Microsoft, anti-Apple, anti-Google or anti-Internet. I do believe, though, that the consumer is being ripped off of his privacy, identity and purchase history. We are being herded into a Facebook corner where what we "Like" and where we go physically and on the net will be scrutinized and sold numerous times to actually corrode and erode our culture while tempting us only with convenience, high tech and flashing video screens. The unsuspecting consumers need to be aware..." - Gary Lapman

Share Your Cell Phone Number With Facebook's Customers

Would we have expected less?  Sarah Palin says that she isn't going to shut up!  This isn't even news.....

Watched Piers Morgan's first show last night interviewing Oprah Winfrey.  He was (I believe) meeker than I expected, or maybe it was the power of Oprah that overwhelmed him.  All in all, it was an acceptable show- different than Larry King, but still worthwhile.

I'm confused.  Women have lines to get in their rest rooms, while men usually don't.  Now Sega wants to put video games in urinals!  This will make getting to one a bit more difficult....

First birds falling dead out of the sky, then masses of dead fish, now cows are dying inexplicably.  Is the Biblical prophesy coming true ?  This really getting too creepy....

Here it comes:  Facebook now wants your cell-phone number - to share!  Don't say I didn't warn you!

A man was telling
his neighbor, "I just bought a new hearing aid. It cost me four thousand dollars, but it's state of the art. It's perfect."
"Really," answered the neighbor. "What kind is it?"
"Twelve thirty."

Morris, an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical. A few days later the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm.

A couple of days later the doctor spoke to Morris and said, "You're really doing great, aren't you?"

Morris replied, "Just doing what you said, Doc: 'Get a hot mamma and be cheerful.'"
The doctor said, "I didn't say that. I said, 'You've got a heart murmur. Be careful.'"
