Why is it that politically inciting radio hosts insist that what they say has nothing to do with the ideas that drive people to perform heinous actions? Sara Palin cites "blood libel" as the issue. If these potential mentally disturbed future criminals haven't gotten enough ideas from video games, violent movies, television and other violent acts by other disturbed individuals, she might be right. What does it take for family members to get help for those individuals before this happens? If they have health insurance (which they probably don't), that kind of help should be covered, but how do you get the individual to go? If you are physically sick, there is no denying it. If you are mentally sick, you wouldn't know it and it would require others to take the initiative.
What is with the local ranchers that shot and killed the zebras on the Hearst Ranch? They did get out of the fenced area and may have been threatening their livestock, but why not utilize a sleep-inducing dart gun and have a bit of compassion towards a an endangered breed of animal? Is there more story here? Or it this just a reaction to the Hearst Ranch arrogance? On top of that, the ranchers have contacted taxidermists to create rugs. This makes me sick.
So why didn't I find this on the inside of my Snapple lid? The Titanic will disappear by 2030! Apparently there is an iron eating bacteria that is devouring it! Who would figure that ?
After a number of attacks on hikers and campers in
Alaska, the Department of Fish and Game released the
following advisory:
We advise that outdoorsmen wear noisy little bells on
their clothing so as not to startle bears. We also
advise outdoorsmen to carry pepper spray with them in
case of an encounter with a bear. It is also a good
idea to watch out for fresh signs of bear activity.
Outdoorsmen should recognize the difference between
Black Bear and Grizzly Bear poop. Black bear poop is
smaller and contains lots of berries and squirrel fur.
Grizzly bear poop has little bells in it and smells
like pepper.

My Statement
"Let me emphatically say that I am not anti-Facebook (Fleecebook), anti-smart phone, anti-Microsoft, anti-Apple, anti-Google or anti-Internet. I do believe, though, that the consumer is being ripped off of his privacy, identity and purchase history. We are being herded into a Facebook corner where what we "Like" and where we go physically and on the net will be scrutinized and sold numerous times to actually corrode and erode our culture while tempting us only with convenience, high tech and flashing video screens. The unsuspecting consumers need to be aware..." - Gary Lapman
